Here are a few fun pictures of what we have been up to lately!
Had our friends over for dinner and "Michael Jackson Wii!" It was a blast!
Went to a jazz game with the girls, and guess what? THEY WON!
Loving this kid! He looked so cute the other day, I had to snap a photo of him.
And of course, Tallie wanted in on the photo shoot, so she started posing on the steps!
Enjoying some nice weather!
Lance completed his first session of gymnastics with Coach Sarah, and had a blast!
My cute sister in law Emily won Student Body President at Bonneville Junior High. So proud of her, she is such a cutie!
Eating their favorite food: Spaghetti!
Speen has been traveling a ton lately for work, and the last two times he has gotten home, it has been snowing and he has been wearing a golf shirt with NO coat! You would think he would learn that Spring in Utah is unpredictable. Silly Boy!
And finally, I went out to dinner and to a very strange dance concert with my MIL and sister in laws, it was a blast! Oh, so many funny memories were made that night! "I wonder if Sam's future wife will be with us next year!" Oh too fun!
After the dance concert, we decided to be a little rebellious and we went and toilet papered Speen's aunt and uncle. It was hillarious. We went into the grocery store to buy toilet paper and we came out and my mother in law had converted her sweater into a nifty hat. Oh, she was definitely getting into character!
Not great pictures, but too funny, not to preserve the memory!

Springtime in Utah!
As well all know, Springtime in Utah is very unpredictable!
Here we are playing outside Early March: (still cold and snowy)
Here we are mid to end March: (nice and sunny!)
Like any talented girl, Tallie is multi-tasking! Nothing like coloring AND riding your car at the same time!
Tallie, always giving Lance "loves."
Beginning of April: (heavenly weather, low 70's!)
"What happened to my pizza?"
And finally, today, April 4: SNOWY!
Maybe, just maybe if we wear our shorts and shades anyway, it will make the warm weather come sooner? Or at least, we can pretend it's warm!

Provo 10k
With one of Speen's shakes nicely digested in his tummy, he headed out to run his first 10k!

Family pic time after the race!
Dinner was so good, I had to post a picture!
Thanks to my 'secret millionaire' for this delicious dinner! You know who you are! ;)
Don't think anyone will miss Speen with these shoes!
Dropping Speen off at the starting location!
Lance decided to run the last little bit with his dad! For Speen's first 10k, he did great and ran it under an hour!

Overkill?
There are a lot of things I LOVE about Spencer's job. First off, I am grateful he has a job. Secondly, I am grateful he has a job that he enjoys and that keeps him busy. Plus, they offer a lot of cool perks, like great vacation time, a company gym and and an on site personal trainer and masseuse, etc.
However, I don't enjoy their reimbursement policy AT.ALL! Let me explain.
Every time you go out of town you have to fill out an expense spreadsheet with all of your expenses. They give you a daily limit for food, and all receipts need to be attached an itemized. Well my darling Spence does not have a whole half a day to fill out these form, so I lovingly offered to fill them out for him. Spence went on three business trip in February (1 for 8 days, 1 for 1 day, and 1 for 3 days). Here are all 16 PAGES (yes, 16 pages) of his reimbursements. It seriously took me at least 4 hours to fill out this paperwork (uninterrupted!). One day I worked on them while my mom had Lance and Tallie was napping, and the other time was after the kids had gone to bed.
Oh, and that's not all - this came back with about 10 post it notes on it asking for follow up information!
Please Spencer's work that I love so much, please please please consider your reimbursement policy. It would save your employees, their spouses, and especially your finance department, oh so much valuable time!
Sincerely,
Katie

Playing in the snow!
Sadly, a couple days after we returned from Florida and the sun, we were greeted with this! Ugh! But, we made the best of it, and went out and played in all the fresh fallen snow.
Tallie, can you even believe she was pretty sick with croup in this picture. This kid is such a trooper, and smiles through anything!
My cute little Goose!
Helping daddy build a snowman!
"Lurpie" - the final product. If you remember in previous posts, Spence is quite good at making snowmen. But this one could possibly be the tallest snowman he's built! Nice job babe!

GaToR LaNd!
Our flight out of Florida didn't leave until 5:40pm, so we basically had a good part of thursday to hang out and have fun. Spence has a friend from business school who works in Orlando and who was able to get us some free tickets into GaToRlAnD!!! It was the perfect place to spend a few hours.
The first thing we did was take a little train ride around the park. Poor Tallie was struggling, but at least we could be out in nice weather soaking up the sun!
The were Gator's everywhere, Lance loved finding them!
There was a little path that you could walk down and you would see Gators literally feet from you in the water and marsh land.
I thought this was a nice, scenic picture!
Lance and Speen were at a show, and I was trying to get Tallie to fall asleep, so here I am trying to take a picture of me and Gator!
Lance got to feed the Gator's some food. And what do they eat? HOT DOGS of course! ;)
Gator up close!
They even had a little water park and playground, which was a blast!
This is where I throw Lance when he is naughty... jk!
Goodbye Gator Land, and goodbye Florida! We had an exceptional 11 days!!!! It felt amazing to get out of the Utah cold and into the Florida sun! Trust me, you will be missed!

Animal Kingdom
We spent a day at Animal Kingdom, and it ended up being a lot of fun. Animal Kingdom is divided up into about 5 different countries or areas. The areas are decorated to look like the specific countries. Here we are in Africa going on an open air jeep safari!
After the safari, we were able to go on a walking tour, and see a ton more animals! Plus, the day was PERFECT WEATHER. You know that temperature when you can't even feel it - it's not too hot or too cold - just PERFECT!
As were leaving Africa, they had some drums set up that the kids could play on. If you remember my past post about the interview with Lance, he really wants to learn the drums, so he LOVED this area. Probably his favorite part of the day.
Tallie ended up coming down with really bad croup while we were in Florida, but she was a trooper laying in the stroller people watching and occasionally getting up and walking around for a minute.
She loved the petting zoo!
In Dinosaur Land, we rode on the ride, here I am livin' it up on the kiddie ride!
And here is the famous "Tree of Life!"
Some other fun things we did at Animal Kingdom were watching and dancing to the musical parade and attended "Nemo: The Musical" which was an incredible 40 minute singing and dancing performance to Finding Nemo. Although Tallie was under the weather, we still managed to have a lovely day!
