Diamondbacks Game.

Lance loved it. He was all smiles the whole time. I thought it was funny that our little light weight didn't even weigh down the chair enough!

Day at the Farm!

Today, the park at our house had a fun activity for kids. They were supposed to come dressed in their best "farmer" outfit. There were animals, tons of tractors, lots of games, and fun all round!

It is always happens on Sundays!

What you ask? Well, my hair cutting bug that is. The sad part, Lance's curls went bye, bye. After 14 months, I felt it was time to attempt to fix his baby mullet. Ok, so secretly I am a little depressed that we did cut off his cute hair, but what can I do now, it's gone! And now it will be able to grow in more even. He was also starting to pull his hair out, because I think it bugged him on the back of his neck... so there is my long explanation of why we cut it! I sure hope his curls come back, but I must say he does look like a handsome little man and it is nice to have less hair in this 100 degree heat!

Lance acted like it was a head massage, he was loving it!

Ooh, it is short. Shorter than I wanted it, but it will grow!

Eating yummy licorice!
Spence liked Lance's cut so much he decided to give himself a nice cut today as well. What hansome haircuts for my guys!

I am LOVING this!

Lance is getting closer to walking every day. His newest development is standing up for several seconds at a time - like up to 30 seconds. He is doing so great!

Three Amigos!

Our good friends have kiddos the same age as Lance. It is so fun to see the three of them interact. Lance, Easton, and Elyse - the three amigos!

Allow me to introduce the future Mrs. Lance Taggart!!! (I wish)

Look - Lance seems to be a fan of the idea! And for that matter, so does Elyse - she is already putting the moves on my boy!

Cute pictures!

Bath time started out as a blast. Lance learned how to say "bubble" and "bath."

But for reasons not posted on this blog, he ended up finishing his bath in the sink!

In the end I got him clean and looking very handsome!

Lance's new t-shirt!

Lance got a t-shirt for joining Thunderkids...

At least it's nice to know that he won't be growing out of it anytime soon. In fact, it will probably last him at least a decade! Nothing like bargain shopping...

Family Pictures... I mean, family duck and cover!!!

So we planned to have family pictures taken tonight...Lance had a fun day, he had a great 3 hour nap, had eaten right before pictures, we were all beautified and had arrived at specific location. We go to pose in front of some corn stalks, when all of a sudden Spence goes "what is that really brown cloud up in the sky?" All of a sudden, we are completely overtaken in a massive wind storm, the dust rippling through the corn stalks - Spence grabs Lance and I shield the camera and we mad dash to the car. So, moral of the story - - - maybe the next time I "plan" to get family pictures taken, I should plan to check the weather!

So, here are some cute pictures of Lance I have taken lately...

Man, he has the cutest chubb ever!!!

Home.Sweet.Home.

Well, after three and a half months, we are finally back home in Arizona. We had an incredible summer in Washington and spending time with family in Utah. However, it feels amazing to be back home!

I just had to post these pictures because I thought they were so funny. Here is our PACKED (and that may be an understatement) car. We figured we could fit a lot more stuff if we didn't use any bags and just crammed our things into every nook and cranny.

Here is what the mess looked like once unloaded from the car... (and that doesn't include the 6+ bags and boxes we crammed into our friends SUV!)

Lance is progressing like crazy lately. He is pulling himself up on furniture and walking around everything. Everyone says "don't be in a hurry for your baby to walk!" Well, he is 13 1/2 months, and I am loving it. It may still take him a couple months to learn to walk on his own because he needs to become a lot more sturdy, but I am having a blast watching him explore new things and move around.

After we got home we put on a Baby Einstein for him to watch while we were unpacking, and this is how he watched it, just laying up against the couch, I thought it was so funny! He seemed to remember our apartment. Now the real challenge - get my once good sleeper, now awful sleeping baby back onto a good schedule!!!

And finally, Spence starts his last trimester tomorrow. We have LOVED our school experience down here. It has been so much fun, and we have made awesome friends. We had a fun BBQ with our friends today now that everyone is back from their internships. Good luck to Spence on his final trimester.
