Great day!

First off: Lance's hair! I wanted to post some pictures of how long it is getting. I thought it looked cute yesterday parted. However, most days I want to cut it off because seriously he has the WORST bed head/rats nest in the back of it ever! Any suggestions - long or short? I have a hard time cutting it since it took forever to get this much!





So I really don't enjoy the cold and snow of Utah, but WOW when the weather changes, the mountains are spectacular. We went hiking yesterday with our friends Charlie and Michelle. Lucky for us some of our best friends from Thunderbird just moved to Utah, from California - we LOVE having them close.

And our reaction to the American Idol results...

Look even Lance knew to plug his ears when Kris was announced the winner! j/k.



It was still a very fun finale. I hope Kris is successful and I have no doubt that we will be hearing a lot more from my GlAmBeRt!!!

*CLARIFICATION: It is funny to me that every person that has commented on this post has said "blah, blah blah I love Kris!" Well, I just want to make it very clear, that I am still 100% behind ADAM! He is my man. I was just happy that Kris got it over Danny cause I thought Danny was starting to get super boring and I do think Kris is very sweet and endearing. But I am still all for Adam!

When conservatism meets liberalism!?!

So for those of you who know my dad, you know he is a pretty conservative guy, and with pretty conservative, I mean extremely conservative!

Well, I am watching American Idol the other night when my dad walks by. I'm like "dad, this guy is so amazing, and really SEXY too!" Yes, I admit, I think Adam Lambert is SEXY! I don't know what it is about black eye liner, but it gets me every time (Jack Sparrow, ahem!)

Anyway, so my dad makes some negative comment about his appearance and starts to walk on by, when I say, you may just want to give him a listen before you say anything. Well, needless to say, I can't get my dad to STOP watching Adam's performance from Tuesday. He has watched it on DVR at least a couple times a day since his performance and even showed it to my aunt and uncle who came into town last night and have never even watched American Idol!

So Ladies and Gentleman, let me present to you Adam Lambert's BIGGEST FAN!!!


I am happy to report that our love for this guy runs deep in the family.

He's even got the conservatives on board baby!
