Picture Update

Here is an update of what the Tag Team has been up to through pictures...

Speen and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on June 28. For Christmas my grandma gave us a gift card to The Roof, so we used it for dinner, and had a blast.

Thanksgiving Point Farm is adorable, I took the kids and we had a blast!

For Father's Day, my father in law wanted to go for a hike, so we went on a hike with the Taggart's, it was a ton of fun. If you are wondering why Spence made me carry the heavy backup, you'll find out why below...

Do you like this tree? Do you think it looks B-E-A-Utiful? I think it does! Do you think the lovely tree trim was worth $10,000?

Well unfortunately I'm sure it will be the MOST EXPENSIVE tree trim we ever do to that tree. See this genius thought it would be fun to climb up the tree (when I was not home) with a chainsaw and cartwheel out of the tree from 15 feet up with said chainsaw in hand... poor guy, we ended up in the ER where we found out Speen bruised a lung and had 6 rib breaks! Yikes, so no lifting, pulling, pushing, exercising, etc for 6 weeks! Luckily, that was the extent of his injuries, and it has now been over 4 weeks, so we are getting close to recovery, wahoo!

We were laying in bed the other night and Speen just looks over and starts laughing. I am watching the Bachelorette on the Ipad in my left hand and playing words with friends on my iphone in my right. He was playing scrabble with his iphone while watching the Bachelorette on the ipad I was holding up. We are such apple dorks!

Love this guy - can't believe he'll be 3 this week!!!

Oh my Tootles, too cute!

Here are all the grandkids on the Taggart side. I gave this picture to my father in law for father's day!

Wanted to document Tallie's rolls, they are so yummy!

Best buddies! I am so lucky, Lance has always been so sweet, gentle and loving to her!

We have loved playing outside in the sun with friends this summer. Lucky Lance is quite the ladies man since my two best girl friends have only girls, hah!

I have the cutest neighbors that come over and play with my kids almost every day!

She is trying to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out yet!

And lastly - we had a shower for a cousin last week. And keep in mind we've had like 10 showers on this side in the last year, so it was really refreshing to change it up. We had a "B" shower, where we all went wearing our "B's!" It was such a blast!

Yes, I have the Baseball cap, bandana, braids with blue, black, brown and beige bindings, bling, bracelents, blue eyeliner, blush, black mascara, baseball jersey, blazer, belts, bath robe, broches, black leggins, and boots. What you can't see, is that under the baseball jersey, I had a pair of Speen's briefs on, a brown shirt, and my bikini! Hah! We did have a competition, but judging from the picture, it's not like I'm competitive or anything... ;)

Look what I found in my garden today!

I LOVE my garden! Look at the goodies I found in my garden today, wahoo!

Lettuce is coming on strong for some yummy summer salads!

Love those green bell peppers!

Tomatoes are starting to bloom, before long they'll be ripe and ready to eat!

A cucumber?!? I had no idea that any were even close to being ready, then walaa I found this baby!

Chili peppers - bring on the salsa baby!

Guess who's 9 months today...

Are you kidding me? Where has the time gone! I have to admit though, I love this age, it is so fun. I am happy to be out of the super baby stage.

Sorry for the picture overload, but I sold my camera (tear) a few weeks ago, and borrowed my dad's camera so I could take a few pictures, and got a little carried away.

Man I LOVE this little girl. She is dramatic, full of personality, has spunk, smiles all the times, can switch on and off the tears in a millasecond (it's amazing!), great sleeper, loves to eat EVERYTHING I am eating or drinking, is trying desperately to get up on her knees, moves everywhere by scooting a little, but mainly rolling like a mad woman. She has the cutest smile, I love her eyes (I think she smiles with her eyes, reminds me of my nana), she has started to wave (it is the cutest thing ever!), says "dad," and "hi." She has two teeth that she got before 8 months, which was nuts because Lance didn't get any until 11 months, and she loves to put anything and everything in her mouth. In fact, I pulled a sticker off the roof of her mouth last week (oops!) I need to be better about keeping stuff off the carpet!

All I can say is how grateful I am that Tallie is a part of our family, we are lucky to have her!

BIG Milestones!

We have had some BIG milestones around here lately...

For starters, this guy, decided to ditch the binky on Saturday!!!

Did you hear that, NO MORE BINKIES for Lance! He was super, super, super attached, and since he is turning 3 next month, I thought now was the time. We decided to make a big production of it.

So, with no further ado, I present to you the "Bye Bye Binky Party 2010!"

We had balloons, cupcakes, candles, presents, cousins, suckers and songs!

First, a picture of the "Last Slumber."

Here is Lance waiting for everyone to arrive!

We told Lance he could attach his binky to some balloons and they would take it to another baby that needed it.

Here is the big moment - letting go of the binky!

When the binky was flying away, we all sang "bye bye binky" to the tune of "bah bah black sheep..." Very catchy!

Next, Lance got to open a present from the binky fairy!

Update: So far, it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, but he didn't take a nap yesterday, so I am really hoping he'll nap today with out it! But I am so proud of him. Saturday night we put him in his bed, and he said "where's my binky?" And I said, "remember, we sent it up into the sky with the balloons for another baby." And he said, "oh, I really wanted to chew on it." It made me sad, but oh well, he's growing up and can't have it forever!

You want my advice - get rid of your kids binkies before 2, cause Lance got way more attached after 2. However, if you are like me and can't do it, I don't blame you! ;)

Last week we went to the park with the cousins, and tried to take a group picture.

Call me mean, but I love this picture. Poor Lindy's face at the front of the train makes me laugh. She couldn't hold up all the kids!

Here are some better shots. It is so fun having cousins and a sister in law with kids all relatively the same ages!

And finally, guess who's 8 months today?!? Wow, has the time flown!

Tallie is such a joy!

Here are some things about Tallie Jo at 8 monts:

1. She loves attention! She is all smiles and grins as long as you are giving her attention. If you put her down and walk away, she is all cries!

2. She is a MOVER! She hasn't quite figured out crawling, but she wants to move so bad. I will put her down and she will see a basket of toys across the room and she will roll 10 times to get to them and start dumping them out of the basket. This is new to me, since Lance didn't even scoot until 13 months! I am afraid once she figures out crawling, she will be pulling herself up and walking in no time!

3. She has two teeth!?! What? Lance didn't get any teeth until 11 months, so what the heck, 2 teeth before 8 months? Kind of crazy. I am not sure how long I can keep nursing with her biting, ouch!

4. She love to chew on EVERYTHING!

5. She also loves to eat. If I have anything in my hand she tries to yank it out and put it in her mouth!

6. She loves Lance more than I can even explain. She will be crying her eyes out and the second Lance walks in she is all smiles and kicking her legs. Seriously crying to smiling in 1.7 seconds. Hello drama queen?

7. She is very different than Lance was as a baby. I realize more and more how dang easy Lance was. However, it is kind of fun to have a little fireball!

We sure love our Tallie Jo!

On a side note, someone at church today, said "operation chubby baby: successful!" She is tiny, but has the cute baby chub that I love!

And finally, meet the "Green Bean" and the "Jelly Bean!"

My friend Kristine and I were pregnant at the same time. She was due 3 days before me and sadly for her I came 3 weeks early. Anyway, so these little munchkins are about 2 1/2 weeks apart. It is funny cause they are on the complete opposite ends of the spectrum - Jonathan being extremely tall and thin like a green bean and Tallie being short and chubby like a jelly bean!

Too cute!

Well, congrats if you made it through the post!

The latest!

Here are a couple cute pictures I took of the Tootles lately. She is 7 months old, and she is SO MUCH FUN!!!

And the latest on Lance...

He went from this...

To this...

Although I absolutely LOVE his long hair (btw it was 8 inches long in some areas when we cut it), it is extremely fine, so it just nats like crazy, and he ended up looking like Russel Brand 90% of the day!!!

So, out with the old, and in with the new do...

In other news, my sister in law and I have recently started making these babies. Yes, they look obnoxious on me since I am just wearing a t-shirt, but you get the idea. They could actually look really cute on a fancy cocktail dress or something.

These flowers, along with our bibs were featured in a fashion show up at Deer Valley on Saturday night put on by the Ballet West models. They were also featured on Park City morning show, so woot woot for us!!!

We are also selling our headbands like crazy, so check them out at your local URBAN BLUES!

I love to see the Temple!
