Little Lance Tripp Taggart is Here!

Here he is 5 minutes old just after his first bath..

He weighed 5 lbs 10 onces and was 19 inches long. He was born July 15th 2007 at 7:27 PM.

He was due to arrive on Aug 13th so he was just about a month early!

We got home from Church on Sunday and were just about to change when Katie thought she had peed her pants; But it was the first glimpse of her her water breaking. We called Jane (Spencer's Mom) and then Kent, (Katie's dad) to see what we should do and Kent told us to go to the Hospital right away. I threw some clothes together for Katie and then gave her a blessing before we left. When she stood up from the blessing it was almost like someone had turned on the faucet between her legs. The whole way to the hospital she was like a water hose. We were just laughing all the way there. We thought it was so funny, she lost at least a gallon of water. She drenched the carpet, the car, the kitchen, the hospital parking lot and several towels.

We got to the Hospital at about 2:15, Katie got the epidural at about 3:40 and he came into the world at 7:27. (She didn't have any labor pains or contractions until after we got to the Hospital. She was such a champ!)

Now we are home and had a great night last night with our little guy. We can't wait to get to know little Lance.

Tons of love, The Taggart Fam. P.S. Spencer got an official Acceptance to Thunderbird for the Fall. We are moving to AZ in Aug.

Congratulations! The best is that he was early! Hold him as much as you possibly can. You won't spoil him and he will only let you do it for so long. Izzy, our oldest, is almost 8, so believe me when I say enjoy this time. It will fly by.
By the way, it is good to get a glimpse of your life since your mission, Spenc. It has been a long time. I am so glad that you are happy and progressing in this life. Again, my deepest congratulations.

I saw the news about your new arrival on Erika and Tyler's blog and remember them saying how you would be going to Thunderbird in the fall. My husband is also at Thunderbird. We are always excited when new students come. I'm sure we will get more acquainted when you get here, but thought I would say congrats!
