Wednesday was definitely the Marathon day. It went a little something like this...
I started off the morning with some R&R -
While the boys and Kristin hit up the outside beach gym for a little of this -
I was super excited to go to a professional baseball game; the lights, the crowds, the enthusiasm, and especially the Chicago Dogs... Plus, Dave and Kristin had never been to a pro baseball game, so I got them super excited. Ok, talk about the biggest let down of the trip. What the crap? There were NO fans there. I tried to post a picture that showed how completely EMPTY the stadium was. I bet the fans wouldn't even fill up 1/3 of the Buzz stadium. It was so pathetic. And do you know what was even more pathetic? The Marlins are good! They have only been around since 1993, and have won the World Series 2x (1997 and 2003). So, why there were no fans, will remain a mystery to me. Plus, they had NO Chicago Dogs, and were "sold out" of regular hot dogs. Weird?
But that bummer didn't get us down - because after the baseball game headed to our next activity - SaLsA DaNcInG!!! I know, an 8 month pregnant woman salsa dancing, yes it was a sight to be seen!
We definitely couldn't bust out the moves like Dave and Kristin...
But we (or should I say I) gave it a good if not awkward try at times!
Dave and Kristin busting out Shaggy's "Angel." Dave seriously sounded better than Shaggy, it was awesome. Spence also busted out "Joy to the World!"
And then finally heading home, but not before posing for a picture with our favorite grocery store...
I mean really, WHO NAMES THEIR GROCERY STORE THIS???
I am going to skip Thursday for now, and go to Friday. We basically hung out on the beach all morning, and then took Dave and Kristin to the airport. Afterwards, Spence and I were able to hit up a movie (a luxury when you have kids) and shopped around for some fun stuff.
Thanks to Dave and Kristin for making the trip so much fun. I don't think there was a day that went by where we weren't crying from laughing so hard, loved it! By the end of Friday, I was kind of freaking out that my water was going to break from lack of taking it easy and we would be stuck in Florida for 6 weeks, but luckily we made it back in one piece!

WAY cute pictures! Seriously looks like such a fun trip! I'm like Spence, not a big fan of sand. And you go girl for salsa dancing! Nice! And holy cow - your basement! I'm so sorry! What happened? Is it covered by your insurance? I'm so sorry!
Katie WTF happened to your basement? It looks like you have a pool down there. WHAT HAPPENED? That is terrible.
LOVE the sand picture. Matt is the same way about sand! It drives him crazy, so I am always trying to get it on him! Glad you had a fun trip before your princess arrives, you deserve it, and you look fabulous by the way!
Looks like a super trip. Love the porno flap shorts. You're amazing going on a trip at the last minute like that. Just my style!
Looks like a fun trip. I'm impressed that you went salsa dancing that preggers. To answer your question from my blog, I sell the adult headbands for $8 and the girl headbands for $7.
What a fun trip! It makes me want to go play... I love that you busted out your salsa moves.
What a SUPER fun trip you guys had!! I've been to Florida too, but not for a long time--and we didn't go to half the places you did. You look great, by the way! Do you have any names picked out? I'm sorry about your basement.
Can I please have your suntan toesies and feet? You look darling all prego and everything. Y'all are so cute!
What a fun trip and just what you need before baby #2 comes. I'm glad you had so much fun and that you didn't deliver there.
