Memory Game!

It's another tag, but this time, it's for US!!

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory of you and I, or you and Spence, or with both of us. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

I remember jr high drama class which in and of itself is hilarious but I remember one day in particular that we both got in trouble for our shorts being too short.

Okay so I've been a lurker on your blog for about a year now and I've never commented. May I first say Katie you were always beautiful but I think as you age you get more and more beautiful by the day. I have this strange memory that you obviously wouldn't remember because it was a figment of my imagination but here goes...Before I met you I had heard a ton about you from Amy, and for some BIZARRE reason I had always imagined you a flaming red-headed person because I had heard so many great things about your spunky personality and contagious smile (and I guess I associated that with redheadedness). Needless to say I was surprised that when the first time I met you, you were not a red-head! Yet of course you still lived up to all the great talk of what I'd heard. I don't think I ever told you that but it's funny to think of now as I can't imagine you any other way than with your blondness and cute little body. Hope all is well, I love your blog!

I remember standing in the foyer of the Kensington Hilton in London trying to work out how to find the underground, and you both came to our rescue and showed us where to go and how to follow the maps - such a friendly gesture to strangers, and then imagine our surprise to find we were all on the same 31 day European tour, and too many memories to even begin to mention!

I remember your wedding of course! At your house in your great backyard. I always remember how nice you were and I was so happy for spence to find someone just like him. Outgoing, fun, spunky...you two are great.

Vibeology??? not ringing a bell!

Holy Cow, how do I narrow this down. Our memories date clear back to Howard R. Driggs. I remeber playing over at your house, and seeing you at the UofU basketball games. More recently I remember playing the funny word game with our husbands (even though we cross the line sometimes. ha ha) We had some fun times watching American Idol in Phoenix as well.

Gosh so many to pick from! First ones that come to my mind are: double date (your first date together), bowling, playing in the downtown fountains, and hanging out at your basement house(s).
Fun times!

wow katie I had to go to the 'next post' area to see all I have missed on your blog. Lances Party looked like it went well to bad that he didn't get more messy. I love all the pictures with your parents it looks like you had a blast. I truly am amzed at how amazing your camera is. You always look like you, and Lance are models.
Ok a memory where do I start.
Spencer= Making a "Joy" book together right before you went on your mission and feeling so close to you.
Katie= Playing progressive ROOK in your down town apartment when you were 1st married. and you Killed us. I think Like the first 3 times we ever played. (also cleaning that place with you and trying to get it not to smell like smoke)

Oh wow! I have a lot of memories of Spence I could post a lot of very funny ones. Like prank calls etc. But the one I will post is as follows:)

I took Spence as my date to a Christmas work party and we snow shoed into the yurt at Solitude and we started a big snowball fight and he launched one right into the head of my boss's wife. And we all cracked up laughing and no one took the blame. The whole evening was very delightful! Thanks for being my date cause I didnt want to take anyone...

I actually don't have my own personal blog, but contribute to Facebook (yeah lame I know, my brother roped me into it) and my extended family blog theyoungfamily.blogspot.com on occasion. I was pretty good in 2004-2005 but took a break for awhile. I've got a 3.5 year old David, and a 18 month old Evelyn. We are still doing the fly-fishing lodge, and after working in an ad agency for a few years I branched out and decided that I wanted to own my own business. So now I do a little freelance graphic design but mostly letterpress invitatins, announcements, and stationery. That's us in a nutshell! Do you get to Salt Lake much? It's usually about every 6-8 weeks for us but sometimes we can drag family up here in the warm months. Hope all is well with you and your cute family.

I'm glad you guys are having so many great summer adventures! And happy birthday to Lance! Remember when we made Mike Maughan say "And the new cheerleader is..." in the 9th grade announcement assembly? And we were the ONLY ones laughing? I still crack up about that!

First, before the memory, check out number 5 of our pics. I changed it. And yes, we will still want to take family pics. We should do them in November when E is one and then we can have pictures to send out for our Christmas cards. Sound good?

Hum, I have lot's of memories. DDR and your "competition face", playing darts, lot's of bbq's, and enjoying Sunday dinners together-Yum. I remember the night we stayed at your house til 1 in the morning and Easton was only 1 month old and we attempted to walk home with the stroller until Spence rolled up. I also remember laying around your house laughing and talking til late in the night while our precious boys snoozed soundly. :) Love ya

Being so disgruntled with Chi Omega that we plotted in the basement to start our own sorority and have the "house" be the rugby shed in my parent's backyard. That was one of my favore moments in Chi-o...
